Page links: Renew your subscription Use View-only mode
Learn how to access the view-only mode if your subscription expires or if you decide to cancel your subscription.
With QuickBooks Desktop 2023 R3 or newer, view-only access remains for 1 year after your subscription ends. In that time, you won’t be able to edit your data with your inactive license. But, you can renew your subscription or export your data. To view your data after 1 year, you’ll have to renew your subscription.
Note: As a QuickBooks Desktop user, you still own your data, regardless of subscription status. You can open and edit company files at any time with a compatible license or active subscription.
