How to Use

Harris 30% Vinegar Concentrate Cleaner (1)

  • Step 1: Remove objects not approved to be cleaned, leaf litter, and organic debris from the area to be treated. To clean approved surfaces you will want to use 1part Harris 30% Vinegar to 60 parts clean water.
  • Step 2: To mix in a handheld pump sprayer, put half the amount of water needed, add the required amount of Harris 30% Vinegar, and pour in the remaining half of water. Close the sprayer tank link and shake to ensure even mixture.
  • Step 3: Once diluted, spray directly onto surface. Avoid overspray or drift as non-target vegetation could be harmed. Allow the Harris 30% Vinegar to dry on the treated surface for at least 15 minutes. Scrub the treated surface with a sponge, cloth, or brush as necessary to remove buildup and stains.
  • Step 4: Rinse thoroughly with water.

Where to Use

Harris 30% Vinegar can be used to clean patios, driveways, siding, brickwork, tools (that are chrome or metal), and for horticultural uses. Indoors this product can be diluted to spray directly on surfaces in the bathroom, kitchen, and shop. Dilute as needed to clean counters, appliances, baseboards, and floors.

Not recommended for solid wood furniture, around outdoor fish ponds, or birdbaths.

When to Use

Use Harris 30% Vinegar when there is a presence of rust, odor, grease, scum, and hard water stains in desirable areas. Apply on days where there is no excess of wind or when rainfall is not predicted for 24 hours after application.

Safety Information

Harris 30% Vinegar is safe to use around children or pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when diluting or applying this product.

Do not use or mix this product with other household cleaners and make sure treated areas have adequate ventilation. Do not use for cooking.

Special Consideration

Avoid undiluted application to metals such as aluminum, tin, iron, or items such as fencing or lawn furniture in order to prevent staining, mottling, or otherwise interfering with finished metal surfaces.

BEST ANSWER: Harris 30% Vinegar will not control or deter deer mice and other types of pests. For deer mice, we recommend a multi-step of control as these pests can rapidly reproduce. Due to rodent breeding activities, it can take some time to fully control population, but it can be done with rodenticide products like the ones used in this DIY guide. https://www.solutionsstores.com/deer-mouse-control
