When we first made the trip to Sitges a few summers ago we were super excited for a getaway with our best gay friends. We did our research, and the chance for a gay Sitges holiday seemed perfect! Deciding where to stay in Sitges took the majority of our time as we worked with our friends to plan the trip. We looked up information about the different areas, decided on a budget and set off to find the ideal Sitges Airbnb.

After researching the best places to stay in Sitges and learning our way around the city in person, we decided to share our findings. We hope sharing our list of the best Airbnbs in Sitges will make it easier for you as you prepare for your own trip.

Sitges is a wonderful place to visit at any time of the year. It’s a sunny destination with an average of 310+ days of sunshine each year. With phenomenal weather, beaches, food and nightlife – it’s an unbeatable place to visit.

As with most beach destinations in Spain, Sitges tourism peaks in the summer months. We have visited in late July and August and found the town to be bustling with activity. Like other gay beach destination, Sitges has various theme weeks and events throughout the summer.

Sitges summer season kicks off around Easter and runs continuously though the Film Festival in October. In between the crowd sizes ebb and flow with massive visitors for Eurovision, Sitges Pride, Bear Week and other events.

In the off-season you can enjoy the town with fewer crowds and still find warm weather and sunny skies. Even in the depths of winter you can at least go for a walk on the beach most days. Some cafes, bars and restaurants close seasonally or reduce their hours in the winter months but there’s no lack of things to do in Sitges during the winter. It’s just a different type of getaway compared to a summer trip.

Here is our ultimate list of the 12 best Airbnbs in Sitges. We focused on finding exquisite properties that were between Passeig de Vilanova and the Mediterranean Sea. This gives you the best of both worlds with access to the beach, old town and nightlife in Sitges.

The selection of properties we researched all have A/C – air conditioning is super important in the summer months. We also heavily prioritize super hosts (the best on Airbnb) with a fair amount of availability and instant booking if possible. Apartment Rita is located just off the beach with sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sean. Imagine drinking your morning coffee on that balcony and watching the waves coming in! It’s a cozy couple’s getaway waiting to happen with super cute decor and in walking distance to everything in Sitges.

The location is incredible and it’s a beautifully decorated apartment with three equal rooms (the ideal set up for group travel). There’s a touch of elegance without being over-the-top and the kitchen and living room lead right out onto a classic Sitges balcony terrace. It can’t be beat!

Three words – ROOF TOP TERRACE. And underneath that, the house is also gorgeous, spacious and well decorated. This is also a perfect area of Sitges, although this list only includes the prime area to book when you pick a Sitges Airbnb.

This townhouse is unreal as far as outdoor space! The decks are perfect for getting some sun when you aren’t up for the beaches and there’s also a community pool. You’re steps from the marina and in walking distance to the beaches and downtown cafes, restaurants and nightlife.

This place just oozes coziness and it’s a luxurious top-floor apartment with the most incredible views in the city. The apartment is full. of natural light and simple, clean features! It’s (obviously) right on the beach leaving you with a short morning commute!

This loft is gorgeous, modern and makes incredible use of the space. It’s just a dreamy place to call home while you’re in Sitges and it’s super close to the city center and all the best the city has to offer.

Another property in a perfect location, but this one has three outdoor terraces and is super-stylish inside. It’s a cozy place to stay in Sitges that’s perfect for two couples or a small family or friend group.

This place is right on the beach with a fun beachy decor and close to everything in town. The rate is a fantastic value for how close you are to everything in this welcoming and cozy apartment.

These views pretty much speak for themselves, right? Look at the fantastic panorama of the beaches and Saint Batholomew Church! You’ll spend all your time on that lovely terrace and the interior is just as lovely with great decor and comfort.

The Old City in Sitges is so gorgeous, it’s the perfect place to stay if you want the old charms in your apartment – the things you’ll never find in a hotel. This unit also has two very equal bedrooms, always important if you’re traveling as two couples or even a small group of friends sharing beds.

RECENT REVIEW: “Flat was absolutely perfect and Alexa was the perfect host. The flat was clean and tidy with all the amenities as described. Located perfectly in the old quarter, walking distance from beaches and bars and cafes. We especially loved the balcony facing the street.”

Great apartment with A/C and outdoor space to keep you cool in the city. Of course, it’s also super close to the beach with room to host an entire family and spread out in this central location.

The outdoor space of this Sitges Airbnb is super nice and the building is perfectly located super close to the beach. There are two community pools to use and a great apartment to make your home while you’re in Sitges.

It’s incredible to see the ocean from the decks and the location is superb – super close to the beach with cafes and restaurants nearby. This apartment is great for a small group, a family or two couples to share!

This location SIMPLY cannot be beat! Take a good look at the photo of the balcony and the beach and sea below – how could you not want to book that at first sight? All of these Sitges Airbnb properties are in fabulous locations, but this one kind of wins amongst them all!

We love the simple decor and minimalist style. The balcony is incredible and the historic house is located just off of the best beach promenade and trendy gay beach.

We were a group of 13 people and we all fit comfortably with room to spare. The view was spectacular and we spend most of our time laughing and enjoying our family time on the terrace near the pool. We really enjoyed this home!”

The views from this house are stunning and it gorgeously overlooks the coastline. There’s room for a large group and the pool and pool deck are PHENOMENAL!

If you’re still reading at this point, I assume you’re ready to book a Sitges rental. Keep in mind a few tips:

1. Once again, we gave you prices that were available now – however many properties have dynamic pricing throughout the year and additional fees. Keep that in mind and check their final charges on Airbnb.
2. Some properties require you and your group to supply your own beach towels and toiletries. Make sure to read listings fully and if you’re unsure what’s provided, as the host – communication is one of the best things about Airbnb.
3. Check-in and check-out are sometimes remote or it can involve picking up a key somewhere else in Sitges. Make sure to find out this information when you book.
4. Be aware that parking can be difficult and many streets in the Old City are pedestrian only. But don’t worry, you won’t have to drive much (unless you do some day trips) and there are parking lots on the outskirts of the town.
