In five brief verses in his Letter to the Romans Chapter 5, Paul gives us a path toward better, a path that leads from suffering to hope. Suffering, Paul tells us, can produce endurance, and endurance can produce character, and character can produce hope, when we are on this path.
Notice what Paul says in verse one. “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”The first thing mentioned is the fact (that Paul has already reiterated several times over) that we are justified by faith alone. To be justified is to be 'declared righteous.
We are recipients of a remarkable gift. We are no longer under the power of sin, we are in God's home. We have access to God. Paul is saying that we have gained entrance to the most wonderful place possible — we have gained entrance to God's domain.

Who wrote Romans 5 1?
Romans 5 is the fifth chapter of the Epistle to the Romans in the New Testament of the Christian Bible. It is authored by Paul the Apostle, while he was in Corinth in the mid-50s AD, with the help of an amanuensis (secretary), Tertius, who adds his own greeting in Romans 16:22.

God is referred to as zealous and passionate.
The global message of Romans is that all people everywhere have free access to the riches of God's grace in Christ as they respond in faith to the gospel. In his own Son, God has made a way for lost people to be restored to him—lost people whether they are Greeks or barbarians, wise or foolish (Rom. 1:14).
Romans 5 fleshes out what it means to be justified and the blessings associated with it. We have peace with God, access to God, and hope and perseverance amid suffering. At the core, we have a new life in Christ Jesus with the Holy Spirit as our guide and comfort.

Why are we justified by faith?
If you are a believer, you have been justified. That means God has determined that He will notregard you as a guilty sinner but as His spotless, perfect child. In this simple process aredisplayed all the wonders of the love, grace, and mercy of our redeeming God.
The example he uses of Abraham helps us to understand his point. Abraham was first justified by faith, when he came to believe God's call and promise (Gen 15:6). Afterwards, he was justified still further by the "work"—the obedient act—of being prepared to sacrifice his son Isaac at god's command (Gen 22).

You can become justified by believing in Jesus Christ as your Savior. If you trust in Him, you will receive His righteousness. Jesus will cover your sin with His righteousness. All your impurity will be made perfect through Christ because He lived a sinless, blameless life.
God's Word says that we are saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus and not by our own efforts or works (Ephesians 2:8-9). Grace Alone. Faith Alone. Grace alone means that God loves, forgives, and saves us not because of who we are or what we do, but because of the work of Christ.
