After proving that all men are guilty of sin and incapable of earning salvation, Paul explained how faith—not works—is the means by which God declares us righteous. Romans 5 begins with a powerful, joyful revelation of all that comes with being justified in God's eyes by our faith in Christ. We have peace with God.

Adam's act has brought the crushing weight of sin into the world, and because all sin (Romans 5:12), all of us are under condemnation. But Jesus brought something else into the world that is greater than Adam's act of disobedience. Jesus' obedience brought justification into the world.

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:1-8).
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
You can become justified by believing in Jesus Christ as your Savior. If you trust in Him, you will receive His righteousness. Jesus will cover your sin with His righteousness. All your impurity will be made perfect through Christ because He lived a sinless, blameless life.

What is the reflection of Romans 5 1 8?
On our own we could never manage to restore ourselves to righteousness. Fortunately we do not have any need to do so. The price of our sin and disobedience was paid, once and for all, on the Cross at Calvary; and if we accept God's forgiveness won for us through that sacrifice, we truly have peace.
God's Word says that we are saved by grace through faith in Christ Jesus and not by our own efforts or works (Ephesians 2:8-9). Grace Alone. Faith Alone. Grace alone means that God loves, forgives, and saves us not because of who we are or what we do, but because of the work of Christ.
