How do I log into my SMU Edu? ›

Login in at http://live.smu.edu.sg with your SMU email address and password.

You can access your account via office.smu.edu.

Student my.SMU

This will generate a login account for that individual and provides limited access to grades, bills etc.

The username is typically your eight-digit SMU ID number. In some cases, you will need to enter smu\ in front of your ID, for example smu\0000111 . Microsft 365 is the only service that requires your email address as your username, rather than your eight-digit SMU ID.

After a certain number of incorrect login attempts, your SMU account may become locked. If your are certain the password is correct, try unlocking the account first. Once unlocked the password should be accepted by the servers.

Resetting Your Password

Password Tools are located at smu.edu/password. This application will allow you to reset your SMU password any time of the day or night and immediately gain access to your accounts. In order to use this service, you will first need to sign up or enroll in the password reset application.

Logging In

To login into the my portal app, all you will need is access to an email address. For existing policy holders, please use your email address attached to your policy. If you do not hold a policy with us, you can log in using any email address. Simply input your email and click 'Get the Magic link'.

If you forgot your username, click Forgot Username, and then submit the email address associated with your College Board account. We'll email you all of the usernames associated with your account and indicate which are associated with a College Board test record. If you forgot your password, click Forgot Password.

Therefore, the acceptance rate alone is not a good indicator that Texas Christian University (TCU) is a better school or will be more difficult for you specifically to get into. On the flipside, Southern Methodist University (SMU) is easier to get into based on acceptance rate alone.

Ordering an Official Transcript

Clicking the Order Transcript/Verification link within the Academics section of the left-hand sidebar of your Student Dashboard will direct you to the National Student Clearinghouse to order an official transcript.

Click Forgot Password

Phone Number Changes

Many colleges will discontinue alumni email addresses a few months after graduation, so it's best to stay on the safe side and create a new one. Be sure to include your education on your resume and applications, as it's definitely something you should be proud of.
