The Upper East Side of Manhattan has long been known for old money in New York City (Rockefellers, Roosevelts, Kennedys, etc.). The real estate has been some of the priciest in the city. The Upper East Side includes Park Ave., Madison Ave., and Fifth Ave. Attractions located in the Upper East Side include the Metropolitan Museum of Art (The Met), the Guggenheim, Andrew Carnegie Mansion, Henry Clay Frick House (which houses the Frick Collection), Morgan Library, Jewish Museum, Whitney Museum, as well as the famous Carlyle Hotel and more.
