A collection of iconic photographs by Magnum photographers are available as archival pigment print quality, limited edition prints, available in 8×10″. Each highly collectable print is validated with a specially created Magnum Photos Archive stamp and numbered by hand. These prints offer the opportunity to own a piece of Magnum’s history in a market defining format.
Description
In 1965, Raymond Depardon embarked on two royal state visits with Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip: Ethiopia and West Germany. Visiting West Germany and West Berlin for the first time, their ten-day visit in May 1965 marked the first royal trip to German territory for more than 50 years. Depardon, who was at the time, a young photographer of 23, recalls the moment that he took this image: “I must have taken this picture the moment that she was getting back into her car after a reception in a town hall in one of the big German cities, Frankfurt or Munich, I think. Standing by her car, she waved to the crowds and the people behind me cheered and applauded, which made her smile”.

Please note: Please allow up to three additional weeks until your order ships due to the hand made nature of this frame.
- Hand-crafted black or white wooden frame (w: 0.6″ h: 0.6″).
- Magnum Editions prints will be framed with a white, archival, made-to-measure mat.
- Includes UV plexiglass, which comes with ~99% UV protection.
- The finished Magnum Editions Prints will then be sealed using archival paper backing, wired ready for hanging and with wall-friendly footers.
- All products used in the framing are archival quality
- All frames will have outside dimensions of 11.8″ x 13.4″ inches
- Please note, the Magnum Archive stamp and edition number will be hidden by the framing.
