Every year, to make this list, MONEY researchers looked at cities with a population of 50,000 or more, weighing factors like housing, health and safety, diversity, cost of living, quality of life, education, and local amenities.

In its analysis, MONEY noted Frisco's "outstanding public schools" and public-private partnerships, "arrangements that bring high-level sports, art and technology to the Texas town".
