2degrees is part owned by the Hautaki Trust – it operates under the radio spectrum given to Maori as part of the Treaty settlements.
To stop the auto-renewal for a specific pack, click Stop this pack. Use the 2degrees App. Go to your Add-ons, then click stop next to the pack you want to stop. Call 200 for free from your 2degrees mobile and follow the voice prompts through to the Add-on menu.

If you're thinking of cancelling your mobile plan, you'll need to give us a call on 200 from your 2degrees mobile, 0800 022 022 from any New Zealand phone, or +64 22 200 2000 from overseas.
If you have an active, current Prepay or Pay Monthly plan and register on the Data Clock app you will get a free hour of data every day, excluding the $10 Prepay plan. Free data hours immediately expire if they aren't used each day. Only available on selected plans.
If your Prepay Monthly or 14-day plan tries to renew but you don't have enough credit, it will go on hold for three months and will only auto-renew when you top up the necessary credit amount.
Data Clock restrictions
Data Clock does not allow tethering or a phone used as a Wi-Fi hotspot.
How do you get data?
- Open your Settings app.
- Tap Google. Mobile data plan. To check your plan: At the top, see your current data plan status. To buy more data: Under "Buy data," tap the offer you want. Then tap Buy.
The easiest way is by using the 2degrees App, but you can also top up online, buy a voucher and top up by text, top up by phone, set up an Auto Top Up or top up someone else's account. The minimum top up amount is $10. When you top up, your Prepay credit is valid for 365 days from that date.
2degrees, as part of the RCG, announced today together with Spark and Vodafone, that new rural broadband and mobile services are now live into 20 rural locations across New Zealand.
However, 2degrees beat both Spark and Vodafone on Upload Speed Experience, with its users observing an average speed of 9.9 Mbps, 0.9 Mbps higher than that seen by users on second-placed Spark.
Deal would create a much stronger number three in the local telecommunications market. Telcos 2degrees and Orcon, a subsidiary of Vocus Group, are poised to merge to form New Zealand's third largest integrated telecommunications company.
2degrees and Vocus NZ officially joined forces today – becoming the country's third-largest telco, with an annual turnover of more than $1bn. CEO Mark Callander says 2degrees is set to further challenge and disrupt the telco market, and Kiwi consumers will benefit.
Skinny Mobile is a division of Spark New Zealand. Think of Skinny as a no-frills version of Spark mobile. It runs over Spark's 4G and 5G network, so it has great coverage.
