The Reels Play bonus program pays creators up to $35,000 per month, but it's an invite-only feature.
Starting today, we are offering Reels Play – new bonus programs on Facebook and Instagram that allow you to earn money for the Reels you share. Reels Play on Facebook will pay a bonus to eligible Facebook creators whose Reels get at least 1000 views over a 30-day period on Facebook.
Most TikTokers with enough views or followers to generate paying opportunities make a majority of their money off brand deals, which generate between $200 to $20,000, Tubefilter reports. Facebook's ad campaigns generate an average of $8.75 per 1,000 views, according to the Social Media Examiner.
On average, 1 million views pays about $1,000, Shaba said. Sometimes, a video with about 1 million views can earn upward of $1,500 depending on the CPM rate, or cost per thousand views, Nonny added. (Insider verified these earnings with screenshots of their Facebook creator studio.)
Payouts for the Facebook Reels Play bonus program
You can view and manage payouts in Creator Studio on your computer by going to Monetization > Payout Settings (Note that the 21 days payout is not applied in Vietnam). Payments are transferred to the bank account you provided when you set up payments for your Page.
Instagram is also directly paying some influencers through incentive programs like "Bonuses" for Reels, which requires at least 1,000 views on Reels (rather than a follower minimum).
By participating in the Instagram Reels Play Bonus program, you'll earn money directly from Instagram. You'll earn the bonus as follows: Once the Instagram Reels Play Bonus becomes available to you, you'll need to get started before the eligibility expires.
Your page must have reached one of these milestones in the past 60 days: 15,000 engagements; 180,000 minutes viewed across all of your videos; or 30,000 1-minute views on 3-minute+ videos. You must be at least 18 years old.
Revenue from sponsored Facebook videos will be based on a few factors: the number of views, the number of ads user watched in a single view and the amount of time spend on each video. From the total income, the creator of an advertisem*nt will get 55 percent of income, and the platform will get the rest (45 percent).
