It helped me a great deal!
Written in a simple and everyday style, just like most people I suppose whose mind may not operate in a constant financial sense, it hit home like a ton of bricks, but with a warm and forgiving touch.It will make sense to all who have mismanaged and mishandled their finances, and helps the reader articulate the naive choices we often make with our money. Orman, cuts the way for a future that we may not too often think as we live in the moment in a consumer oriented society.This book affirmed and re-affirmed me in many ways. The challenge would be to do something about it. Highly suggest it to anyone whose life is consumed in a "negative" way about bills and money.She deserves all the success that she has achieved and I am proud of her.

Getting Control of Your Money
I like the book because if you have some financial knowledge you can apply it to the principles that are being presented in this book. I found it easy to follow. I think the book might be difficult for someone with no knowledge of fiancial affairs. I actuallly bought it for my daughter who is 28 years old..I have already read it and enjoyed it immensely. I recommend the book.

She does describe laws, her laws.
This is my first Suze Orman book. This is great for someone whom really needs a whole new view on how to manage money and debt, or just never was guided on your personal finances. However, I was looking for guidance on the options available to me for saving for retirement. There was little guidance. She is a little drawn out with some of her examples in this book.
