World-renowned chef Bobby Flay served up a real estate treat this week in the form of a mid-century modern-inspired Los Angeles estate, which the celebrity restaurateur scored for $7.6million. Elsewhere in the glitzy world of showbiz property, King of Queens funnyman Kevin James dropped $14million on a South Florida oceanfront estate, and Gene Simmons kissed his $2million home in the Hollywood Hills goodbye. Here are this week’s celebrity real estate movers and shakers...

BOBBY FLAY SCORES MODERN-INSPIRED LA ESTATE FOR $7.6M: Bobby Flay has planted roots on the West Coast with the purchase of a $7.6 million dollar mid-century modern-inspired mansion in Los Angeles - and the world-renowned chef already has his eye on grand designs for the property.

Big culinary plans: The native New Yorker, 56, worked with the former owners to create an outdoor kitchen of his dreams for the 5,764 square foot home. The property was built last year by Michael and Arya Martin of design and development firm OSKLO LA. When they learned of Bobby's interest in the property - but his reservations due to a lack of an outdoor kitchen - the two groups sat down to make something work.

A cut above the rest: The soon-to-be-constructed outdoor kitchen will be state of the art, and includes a pizza oven and an Argentinian-style grill 'to enhance the already majestic outdoor deck and pool area,' a spokesperson for Bobby said. Pictured: The home already comes with an impressive indoor kitchen.

Keep the family close: 'Mr. Flay has been spending more time in Los Angeles to be closer to his daughter, Sophie who is a community journalist for ABC News,' the spokesperson told People. Pictured: The spacious living room.

KEVIN JAMES SPLASHES OUT $14M FOR SOUTH FLORIDA MANSION: The King of Queens is heading down south with his purchase of a massive, six-bedroom South Florida oceanfront estate, according to the New York Post.

Eye for design: A team of architects, designers and engineers completely upgraded this oceanfront estate, according to property reports. 'Stofft [Architects] restyled the exterior to a beautiful significant coastal residence which has become a wonderful addition to the Delray Beach oceanfront,' the listing stated. All fun and games: Rooms are easily accessible via an elevator, which provides access to a recreational room with a bar (pictured) and a wine cellar. Outdoor entertaining is easy with a built-in grill on the patio near a heated pool just steps away from the ocean.

New neighbors: Kevin will be joined by a number of the Trump family in South Florida including Ivanka and Jared Kushner, who have reportedly purchased a $31million plot of land on Miami's 'Billionaire Bunker'.

GENE SIMMONS KISSES HIS $2M HOLLYWOOD PAD GOODBYE: Kiss rocker Gene Simmons has offloaded his Hollywood Hills pad with stunning views of downtown Los Angeles for $2million, which was $200,000 less than the star's original asking.

Cool profit: The rock n' roll icon, 70, bought the hillside home in 2013 for $1.45million and has made more than half a million on the resale in just eight years. Gene renovated bathrooms and kitchens, but opted to keep some of the house's original charm. Pictured: One of the property's four bedrooms.

A rockstar skyline: The singer's three-story property in Laurel Canyon is a modern rock palace with four bedrooms and two bathrooms and a 360 degree views of the iconic Los Angeles skyline (pictured).

Plenty of Kisstory: Gene's former home sits on a private road at the top of the canyon - an area famous for housing many of LA's top rock musicians in the 60s and 70s. Everyone from Joni Mitchell to Jim Morrison called the canyon home at one point, making it a residential music mecca.

CAROL BURNETT'S FORMER SANTA FE COMPOUND HITS THE MARKET: Legendary comedian Carol Burnett's former 8.08-acre, 9,567-square-foot compound in Santa Fe, NM has been put on the market by the current owner for $6.2million.

Former abode: The 87-year-old actress - who's an Oscar away from EGOT status - moved out of the Circle Drive home in 1998 after being featured in the December 1996 issue of Architectural Digest. Pictured: The cozy, wood-paneled kitchen.

Southwestern charm: The contemporary two-story property has seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms divided among the expanded Pueblo Revival-style main house. The Santa Fe property also features a gatehouse built in 1995, and a casita built in the 1950s. Pictured: One of the charming bedrooms.

Mountain vistas: There's a bar and a deck with mountain views, swimming pool with a cabana and an outdoor kitchen/dining area, a putting green and a chipping area, a horseshoe pit, and a hard-surface outdoor recreation area.

SIR SEAN CONNERY'S SEAFRONT VILLA HAS ITS PRICE SLASHED: Late James Bond star Sean Connery's stunning Riviera villa has had its asking price slashed in half to $18million after failing to sell. The incredible property in Nice - which is still known as Sean's place to locals - was first marketed at $36million in May last year but is yet to be snapped up.

Never say never: The property, which featured in his final turn as 007 in Never Say Never Again, is only 30 minutes from both Monaco and Cannes and is the perfect retreat for lovers of elegance. Both Sir Elton John and Tina Turner have also owned homes nearby, according to a travel guide published last year.

What a setting: Villa Le Roc Fleuri, which was inhabited by the actor in the 1970s and 80s, is located is the green hills of the Cap de Nice. It boasts panoramic views over the Port of Nice on the French Riviera.

License to chill: Sir Sean's old home features two swimming pools, one indoor infinity pool (pictured) and an outdoor counterpart, a wine cellar and a separate apartment above the attached garage for any additional guests.
