Terry Smith’s giantFundsmith Equitystrategy has made its first appearance in Bestinvest’s Spot the Dog report, alongside the likes of Nick Train’sLindsell Train UK Equity fund.

St James’s Place (SJP) funds also feature prominently, with £18.5bn of assets split across three serially underperforming portfolios.

The analysis, which considered datafor thethree years to the end of December, found a 170% jump in the number of ‘dog funds’ versus the last edition six months ago.
