How does Ria mobile wallet work? ›

Mobile wallets are like the physical wallets we carry with us daily — just on your phone. They can be used to receive, store, and spend money. In select countries, money can be deposited directly into your recipient's mobile wallet. This is one of the fastest ways to receive money.

The billing address you provided during checkout does not match the billing address that you have on file with your credit card company. You are not in the country that you're registered in. You used someone else's card — like a spouse or family member. You used a prepaid/gift card and isn't a valid payment method.

How much money can I send with Ria? The maximum amount you can send from the US using Ria's online money transfer service is $2,999.99 a day and $7,999 every 30 days. There are a few exceptions – for example, due to state regulations you may only send $999.99 a day from Oklahoma, Arizona and New Mexico.

Adding your debit card to your Digital Wallet means you can get cash using your phone.

Using a bank account to pay for your transfer is usually the least expensive option but it may take up to 4 business days for the money to arrive. Using a credit or debit card to pay for your transfer may require a fee, but the money usually arrives within 15 minutes.

Once you've confirmed your transfer, you'll be directed to complete the necessary verification process. In the first instance, we might ask you to answer some questions and to provide identity information. For the second verification process take a picture of a valid identity document and a selfie.

Weekends, public holidays and local business hours might mean that there's a delay in the transfer reaching your recipient. The time of day that you send money, holidays and weekends might also mean that money can't be delivered to your recipient's home, or that they're unable to collect a cash pickup transfer.

You can set your transfer up in the app or online and go to a Ria location or participating 7-Eleven to pay with cash. Once you've made payment, your transfer will arrive within 15 minutes.
