"The pinnacle of exclusivity and a premium lifestyle"
Portsea is renowned for being one of the most iconic and popular suburbs in Melbourne. Portsea is appealing as it offers the best beaches on either side of the suburb. The suburb is home to a large amount of luxury mansions in this secluded coastal area. The suburb provides the optimal coastal living on the Mornington Peninsula.

"Australia's version of the Hampton's"
Known as a summer destination for affluent Melburnian residents. Portsea sits at the end of the Mornington Peninsula with many a private beachside mansion housed in between a fabulous back beach with surf breaks pounding in from the southern ocean and a Mediterranean style front bayside beach with pier. Real Estate is on the expensive side but the Portsea Pub is well worth a visit in the summer months where a great balmy summers day can be spent drinking with friends and family on the lawn overlooking the bay with boats ,jetski's and water skiers are a common sight.Point Nepean National park on tip of the Peninsula is well worth a visit too with the annual Portsea Polo event held there every January.

"Melbourne's best beach getaway"
I've been going to Portsea all my life, absolutely love spending summer on Shelley Beach or the Portsea Back Beach if you want some surf. Great shopping nearby at Sorrento, or a short trip to Rye/Rosebud if you need more. It's an expensive place to have a beach home but the property prices have held up over the years.
Great for
- The French Riviera in Melbourne! Great beaches
- The place to be seen in summer in Melbourne.
- The Portsea Pub is amazing, summer in the beer garden or winter by the fire.
Not great for
- Very expensive - you need to be wealthy to have a home here.
