Florida’s theme parks are world-famous, and they invite the military to enjoy them for less -- with discounts, special offers and, sometimes, free admission. Here’s the scoop on your favorites.

Walt Disney World Resort


Walt Disney World in Orlando salutes eligible U.S. service members and their spouses with four-and five-day promotional Disney ticket packages, which can be purchased at participating U.S. military sales outlets. You can use the ticket packages at Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot,Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. The Park Hopper option is included. Universal Orlando Resort


Universal Orlando Resort thanks active-duty and retired military, as well as Department of Defense personnel, with specially priced tickets that can be purchased at military bases around the country. Active military with valid ID can also receive discounts directly from Universal Orlando Resort’s front-gate ticket windows. Eligible service members can choose from Universal Orlando Resort’s base, two-park and three-park tickets, with one-through five-day tickets available in each option. The discounts are available for Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Universal’s Volcano Bay theme parks. SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay


SeaWorld Orlando celebrates the military with its Waves of Honor program, which includes active and veteran military discounts. All U.S. active-duty military and drilling reservists, including National Guardsmen, are eligible for one complimentary admission yearly to SeaWorld Orlando or Busch Gardens Tampa Bay- and up to three direct dependents, too! Valid active military ID is required to participate. SeaWorld’s program also offers retired military personnel and up to three guests with 50-percent savings on single-day tickets to SeaWorld Orlando’s main theme park. LEGOLAND Florida Resort


You can’t beat free admission—and that’s how LEGOLAND honors active-duty U.S. service members. Just bring valid ID to any LEGOLAND Florida ticket window for admission to the park as well as its onsite water park. No restrictions or blackout dates apply. Non-active military, veterans and military family members can purchase deeply discounted LEGOLAND Florida tickets at Information, Tickets and Travel (ITT) offices on military bases that include a second day for free. Additionally, these folks can save 10 percent on one-and two-day tickets with valid military ID at LEGOLAND Florida ticket windows.
