Here are the coverage details on AAA roadside assistance services: Towing: The Basic plan covers free towing to the responding tow truck's station, to a AAA-owned Car Care facility within 10 miles or to another facility within three miles. The Plus plan covers 100-mile tows and Premier adds one 200-mile tow.

The difference between AAA Basic and AAA Plus is that the Basic plan has lower coverage limits for towing, lockout reimbursem*nt, trip interruption protection and fuel delivery than the Plus plan. The Basic plan is cheaper than the Plus plan, too.

As a member you may call for help as many times as you need it. Every membership year, you and all the other members of your family who join AAA are each allowed up to four (4) free calls for Roadside Assistance each. After that, a service charge applies.

While your AAA Membership doesn't include your spouse, you can share the benefits you enjoy by adding your husband or wife to your Membership for as little as $44.99 per year, depending on your plan and location.
