How do I put money into my Vanguard account? ›

Complete the setup process and print the Vanguard Direct Deposit Service Instruction Form. The Direct Deposit Service Instruction Form will include Vanguard's bank routing number and depositor account number. The IRS or state tax authority will need these numbers to initiate deposits.

While there are no issued checks or ATM cards, we'll provide you with routing and account numbers so you can pay bills, set up direct deposit with your employer, and more. Bill payments can only be made from the available balance in the bank sweep.
