How to change/ downgrade plan? (2024)

Hi. I would like to downgrade my Plus plan to Essentials plan due to nature of business. some of the features are not applicable. I have read downgrade is only available in the US. Is that right?

Please advise as I would like to pay my accounting system my moneys worth.

QuickBooks Plus letsyou do a lot of things you might need in the future (i.e. track inventory,print 1099, managing budgets). To downgrade your subscription from QuickBooksPlus to Essentials, you'll have to cancelyour plus first and start with a new one with essentials.

When you’redone with the cancellation process, you’ll then have to subscribe a newsubscription with QuickBooks essentials through this website: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/pricing/

The downgrade option is only available in the US, mate. Sorry.

For the data, you can't transfer them all. You can export lists like customers, suppliers, products/services, and then re-import them to the new account. For reports, you can export them to Excel.

For transactions like invoices, you'd have to use a third party app to export/import them.

the link about how to downgrade is useless to me because i am in the UK and that option is not available there.

The what happens to the info is also useless cause it doesn't tell me that when i cancel and re subscribe all info will be there.
