Can you still get year 1 Gjallarhorn? ›

Gjallarhorn is an exotic rocket launcher. In Year 1, it could be purchased from Xûr or obtained as a reward from engrams, Crucible matches, Vault of Glass, Crota's End or the Prison of Elders. It is still currently obtainable from Year 1 activities.

In a game built on fantastical weapons, what made Gjallarhorn so special? Simply put, it rinsed every boss in an instant. A fireteam of three or six, all equipped with Gjallarhorn, was a DPS machine capable of disintegrating even Destiny's most impressive endgame bosses in the blink of an eye.

Geirail Frame

A general-purpose mobile suit frame developed by Gjallarhorn. The Geirail Frame is a downsized, mass production version of the Valkyrja Frame which has high performance but hard to mass produce. It served as the predecessor of the Graze Frame.

When compared to other Catalysts in the game, this one is perhaps the most unique. Such a significant DPS boost along with great AoE potential makes Gjallarhorn a really great choice for almost any PVE encounter in the game. So, getting the Gjallarhorn Catalyst is well worth the effort.

Go to Shaw Han's workshop, located across from where he's standing in the Cosmodrome, and interact with the workbench. Once you're done, the Gjallarhorn finally comes back to life in your hands.
