Buying goods at airport duty-free stores is more expensive than shopping online,new research reveals.
MacBook Pros, high-end Canon cameras, Beats by Dr Dre headphones, Samsung Galaxies and perfume are all cheaper to buy online, a study by PriceSpy shows.
iPads and Fitbits are among only nine items cheaper in duty free, the research found.

The study compared 54 items sold atairport retailers JR Duty-Free, Aelia and The Loop in Auckland and Wellington International Airports with online equivalents.
It concluded that online shopping is now so competitive that prices are lower than in duty-free shops.
PriceSpy New Zealand country manager Lisa Matinvesi-Bassett said: 'It's a long-held belief that duty-free shopping is where the best bargains can be found. Clearly, e-commerce has put a firm stop to that.

She said that duty-free shopping is often not as cheap as it may seem after GST and entry fees are factored in.
For example, a Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus 64GB retailing for $1299 at JR Duty-Free comes to a total of $1442 once GST and entry charges are added.
The phone can be bought for as little as $803 online.
Auckland Airport retail and commercial general manager Richard Barker said the biggest discounts at the airport were in alcohol and cosmetics.
The study also neglected cigarettes.
