Teachers are expected to give original insights so that they have a moral high ground to teach. A teacher who does not have confidence in his knowledge often promises more than what he can deliver, and is often defensive in admitting to his lack of knowledge.

And most professors understand that valid reasons keep students from attending every lecture. In general, it's not terrible to miss a single class — as long as you're not skipping the midterm or final. But skipping can become a problem if it's chronic. Missing multiple classes often means a lower grade.

Repetition: One of the simplest and most effective ways to memorize questions and answers is to repeat them over and over again. This can help to reinforce the information in your memory. Visualization: Try to create a mental image of the question and answer.

Take lots of notes

When you are actively absorbing and transcribing the information from a lecture into notes, you are much more likely to stay focused. Whether it is writing it down manually into a notebook, or typing it out on your laptop, taking notes during a lecture will most certainly improve your attention span.

Get a planner, and write down all your class times, and any other important tasks. This gives you some focus and a clear schedule. You'll avoid placing more than one thing on your calendar and designate time for class.
