Child Support Guidelines Review
Child Support Guidelines Review
Rule 32(G), Alabama Rules of Judicial Administration, provides that at least once every four years, the child-support guidelines and the schedule of basic child-support obligations be reviewed to ensure that their application results in appropriate child-support determinations. The Advisory Committee on Child-Support Guidelines and Enforcement, appointed by the Supreme Court of Alabama (the members of which are listed in the link below), is tasked with this review. The current Guidelines were revised effective May 1, 2022 for cases filed on or after May 1, 2022. The date of the next quadrennial review ends on November 17, 2025.
