May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing so that by the power of the Holy Spirit, you may abound in hope.

Oh, what a good verse. I just want to pray it over you today. I’m just going to pray this verse and meditate on it as we pray.
Romans 15:13 Teaches that True Hope, Joy & Peace can Only be Found in God
May the God of hope… God, we praise you for the hope that is found in you. For all who know you, we do not live in despair. We know there is always, always, always a light at the end of the tunnel no matter how dark it seems.
You are the God of hope. I pray that you would fill, oh God of hope, every single person listening right now with all joy. God, I pray for Romans 5 like joy that supersedes circ*mstances, joy, happiness, that is found in knowing you and trusting you and walking with you. God, I pray for your joy and peace. You keep those in peace, perfect peace, whose minds are stayed on you, Isaiah 26 says. Philippians 4. May your peace that transcends all understanding guard the hearts and minds of each person listening right now.
Fill them with all joy and all peace in believing. God, help them to believe today. To trust in you today. Help them believe your promises. To believe that your presence is with them, that you are for them. And not just for them, but in them, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit. God, I pray that every single person listening to this would live today in the power of your Holy Spirit in them. Obviously, this is, oh God, for all who trust in Jesus.
Romans 15:13 Encourages Us to Share this Reality with Others
God, I pray that if anybody who’s listening to this right now who’s not put their faith in Jesus to be forgiven of their sin and filled with your Spirit and restored and reconciled to a relationship with you, redeemed, transformed. Lord, I pray that that would happen. God, I pray that they would trust in Jesus and be filled with the power of your Holy Spirit. God, help us not to live in timidity today. Help us to live in the spirit of power and love and a sound mind, 2 Timothy 1:7, that you have given to us.
So that by the power of your Holy Spirit, we may abound in hope. God, I pray that every person listening right now would abound in hope today. I pray for the anxious, for the depressed, the worried, for the afraid, for the confused, for the despairing. God, I pray for an abounding hope today based on you, based on who you are, the God of hope. By the power of your Holy Spirit in us, help us to abound in hope no matter what today or tomorrow holds. God, we pray that you would help us to abound in hope.
Prayer for the Turkish Cypriot People
God, we love your Word. We love praying your Word. What a great verse, oh God. We praise you for Romans 15:13. We pray it over people who don’t have hope around us. God, help us to share this hope with other people, to help us to encourage other believers with the hope we have in you. Lord, help us to share the gospel of hope with people who don’t know you. God, we pray for the Turkish Cypriot people, Turkish immigrants from Cyprus. Lord, we pray for the 233,000 Turkish Cypriots among whom there may be a small number of followers of Jesus.
God, we pray for that small number that you would help them to abound in hope today. God, we pray for the spread of gospel hope among Turkish Cypriot people for your glory as the God of hope. Oh, may you fill us, oh God of hope, today with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of your Holy Spirit, we may abound in hope. In Jesus’ name, amen.
