Each gold bar is struck from 99.99 fine gold struck with distinction by the Swiss-based PAMP (Produits Artistiques Métaux Précieux) refinery, a popular hallmark with investors.
PAMP Suisse gold bars are refined in 99.99 percent fine gold and show great artistry in design. The obverse of the gold bar shows PAMP Suisse's logo and an assayer stamp, together with a serial number, the weight of 5 grams and the purity of the gold 99.99 percent. PAMP have led the way in producing gold bars of artistic merit, and the reverse usually shows their distinct portrait of Lady Fortuna, the Roman Goddess of luck and fortune, shown with a cornucopia. This design has become synonymous with PAMP. In addition, some PAMP 5 gram gold bars have been produced with an elegant rose design or an interpretation of Liberty on the reverse.
