Employment and Military Spending

What does the military teach you?
The military teaches you how to be fit and how to maintain it. In the military you work 6–7 days a week. You learn how to get your body ready and healthy for longevity. You learn self -discipline to go to the gym and never give less than 100% every time.

THE SALUTE-is the most important and the most common form of all the military courtesies. It is a time honored tradition of the profession of arms, practiced in all military organizations in the world.
The U.S. Armed Forces has significant capabilities in both defense and power projection due to its large budget, resulting in advanced and powerful technologies which enables a widespread deployment of the force around the world, including around 800 military bases outside the United States.
The military, or armed forces, protects a country's land, sea, and airspace from foreign invasion. The armed forces are split up according to those divisions. An army protects the land, the navy protects the sea, and an air force protects the airspace.
It is because of their selfless service that Americans wake up every day with the privilege of peace and freedom at home. In answering the call to serve, members of our military choose to make tremendous sacrifices for their neighbors as well as those they have never even met.

The Army mission is vital to the Nation because we are the service capable of defeating enemy ground forces and indefinitely seizing and controlling those things an adversary prizes most – its land, its resources and its population.
At the request of those nations, our military is providing security assistance, training, and equipment so that those who seek to advance democracy and a free market economy can do so while dealing with internal and external threats.
