The actual estate used in Magnum, P.I. (1980) was named Pāhonu in Hawaiian. It is located at 41-505 Kalanianaole Hwy, Waimanalo, HI 96795, and was owned for many years by the Eve G Anderson Trust. The Anderson Trust sold Pāhonu in the 2010s, and the buildings were demolished in April 2018.

Thomas Sullivan Magnum IV is a private investigator played by Tom Selleck. He lives in the guest house of a 200-acre (81 ha) beachfront estate called Robin's Nest, in Hawaii, at the invitation of its owner, Robin Masters, an unseen character, the celebrated author of several dozen lurid novels.
The luxurious Robin's Nest Estate (pictured) where Magnum lives is situated at Kualoa Ranch, which shot to fame with it's starring role in Jurassic Park. His house is an amalgamation of studio sets and residences found elsewhere on the island.
A beach bar was opened as the location for 'Rick's Bar' in the TV series Magnum P.I. The bar is now The Kahala O Ke Kai, a beautiful oceanfront function room.
As you recall, the property was purchased by close friend Marty Nesbitt, in 2015 for a cost of just under $9 million. Previously it was also the home where the Magnum PI mansion was located, nearby Waimanalo Beach.

“Magnum P.I.” was among several series canceled at CBS this spring ahead of parent company Paramount Global's “upfront” presentation to advertisers in New York, when it revealed its Fall 2022 slate of new and returning series. Also canceled were “United States of Al,” B Positive,” “Good Sam” and “How We Roll.”
In the final scene, Magnum and Higgins finally confess their feelings for each other. They both follow that admission by saying romantic feelings are a bad idea for their partnership and friendship.

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A large piece of Hawaii television history is up for sale and it can be yours for $15.75 million. The 'Anderson Estate' better known as Magnum P.I.'s "Robin's Nest" is on the market.
In 2014, the estate was listed for sale for $15,750,000. It sold in March 2015 for $8.7 million. It's now held in an LLC registered by Marty Nesbitt of Chicago, the CEO and founder of The Parking Spot and a close friend of former President Barack Obama.
