What does Paul call the word of God?
Paul calls the word of God or the gospel a "mystery," but a mystery which has now been revealed. Paul spoke elsewhere about the gospel as a mystery, stating, "according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages" (Romans 16:25).
Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2:13, “We impart [God's truth] in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual.” This is what we have in the New Testament — God's word mediated to us in the divinely taught words of men.
He says, "For us, there's one God, that's the Father and there's one Yahweh, Lord, Jesus Messiah." In the Shema, the whole point is, Yahweh is our God.
In Jeremiah 23:29, the Word of God is likened to a fire. Fire, in the Bible, is used as a symbol of that which purifies or burns up. Gold put into the fire is purified, whereas wood is consumed. The Word of God, similarly, has a purifying effect upon our lives, eliminating from them what is un-Christlike.
The Word of the Lord Brought to Mankind by an Angel is subtitled, "A warning to all people on the second coming of Jesus Christ, revelations on the building of the temple, and instructions to the Church of Christ: The Lord has spoken and revealed his purpose by the mouth of his servant John the Baptist".
The Bible is the living Word of God because it is the message given to us from the “living God” (Hebrew 3:12) Hence the Bible is Inerrant Word of God.
Jesus leapt out from the pages, and still does; his personality, his life, and his love. So my first answer to the question 'Why is the Bible God's word? ' is to say; because it speaks of Jesus, it is our primary and most authentic record of what Jesus did and said, and that I find this man to be amazing.
While Paul uses the name Christ Jesus, he does not use it exclusively. For example, in the third chapter of the book of Philippians, there are references to Christ Jesus (verses 3, 8, 12, and 14), while Paul als refers to the “Lord Jesus Christ” (3:20).
Let's make this short and sweet. God didn't change the apostle's name from Saul to Paul when the man from Tarsus became a Christian. That's a myth far too many Christians believe and, more unfortunately, far too many pastors have taught Christians to believe.
When God called Paul on the Damascus road, he was commissioned to preach the Gospel of Christ. Paul said that when Christ called him, he did not go to Jerusalem to receive instruction from the apostles. Rather, he retired into Arabia for a time and not until three years later did he go to Jerusalem.
Does the Bible call itself the word of God?
The New Testament writers confirm the Old Testament's claim to be the very Word of God. Repeatedly, the New Testament refers to Old Testament texts, its laws, its claims, and its stories as the actual Word of God. Indeed, the entire New Testament is openly built upon the Old Testament.

John's purpose is to establish the fact that Jesus is God and man in one person. By presenting Jesus Christ as the Word through which all things were created, John is saying that God chose Jesus as his messenger/messiah to tell us about himself.

How do we receive the word of God?
Through the preaching, those who hear receive the Word from God—He gives it to them. According to God's good pleasure He then uses that preaching to work effectually in the hearts of His elect. These are brought to faith though the preaching.
From here, we see that Paul is accustomed to this formula of language and also typically moves from reflecting Jesus humanity and his deity. In essence, Paul affirms the Jewish heritage of Jesus but also affirms that He is God in this context.
Acts 13:9 is the clincher: “But Saul, who was also called Paul, [was] filled with the Holy Spirit.” Here the converted person is being called both Saul and Paul—not “Saul the tyrant who was renamed Paul the Christian.” Saul and Paul are dual names of one man, both before and after his conversion.
In his writings, Paul, although not one of the original twelve, described himself as an apostle. He was called by the resurrected Jesus himself during his Road to Damascus event. With Barnabas, he was allotted the role of apostle in the church.
If he had been preaching the gospel of Jesus while under house arrest, Roman soldiers would have instantly understood that Paul was a Christian and had him executed. Therefore, Paul was likely martyred in Rome between 64 and 68 CE. Since he was born in about 5 CE, he would have been in his 60s.
