"A GREAT SUBURB"
We looked at a lot of other suburbs around Townsville, but Kirwan definitely suited the best. We live directly behind the Kirwan State School, which is great as the kids dont have far to walk. There are a few parks around for the kids to kick a ball or just go and play in.

Douglas is a versatile suburb that is located in close proximity to the Townsville Hospital and its associated facilities, the University and has excellent connections to the Outer Ring Road which cuts travelling time north and south significantly.
North Ward is one of the hottest Townsville suburbs with many developments planned and an enviable beach lifestyle with prime attractions like The Strand and Waterpark right on your front doorstep! The Casino is not too far away and neither is great shopping. I recommend North Ward to everyone.
