How do you measure pit to pit size?
The most effective measurement is the pit to pit of a garment. This is taken by laying the garment flat, face up and measuring the cloth from its widest point from under the armpit to the other armpit.
Chest. The first measurement we use to fit a shirt is the chest. We measure pit-to-pit, edge-to-edge (rather than seam-to-seam, as the side seams are typically slightly to the front of the shirt). We then double that measurement, so 20" laid flat would give us a 40" chest measurement.

19 | 32 – 34 | XS |

PTP (Bust): Measure across the chest from armpit to armpit at the fullest point of your bust. Waist: Measure across your waistline, just above the belly button. Hips: Measure across the widest part of your hips/lower body where it curves out the most.

For example, if your actual bust measurement is 32 inch, take the size which has a stated pit-to-pit (PTP) or bust measurement of at least 16 inch (half of 32 inch).

Stand upright without a bra on, and using a measuring tape, measure around your back and under your bust, where the band of a bra would usually sit. Make sure the tape is going around in a steady, even line. It should feel snug, but not tight. Measure in inches: if you land at an even number, that is your band size.

What does PTP mean in clothing?
For example, if your actual bust measurement is 32 inch, take the size which has a stated pit-to-pit (PTP) or bust measurement of at least 16 inch (half of 32 inch). If your measurements fall in between sizes, we recommend you take the larger size.
