How do I withdraw money from my TD Ameritrade account to my bank account?
Log into the account that will send the transfer and go to My Account > Deposits & Transfers > Internal Transfer, then complete the online request. Cash transfers typically occur immediately. Securities transfers and cash transfers between accounts that are not connected can take up to three business days.
Most account transfers are sent via Automated Customer Account Transfer Service (ACATS) and take approximately five to eight business days upon initiation. ACATS is a regulated system through which the majority of total brokerage account transfers are submitted.
Funds cannot be withdrawn or used to purchase non-marginable securities, initial public offering (IPO) stocks, or options until four business days after deposit posting. All electronic deposits are subject to review and may be restricted for 60 days.

On TD Ameritrade's website transfer funds to another account you have within TD Ameritrade or withdraw money altogether. The most you can normally withdraw electronically in a seven-day period is $100,000.

TD Ameritrade cannot accept an electronic transaction from accounts drawn on brokerage accounts or some money market accounts. Some credit unions and savings accounts may not accept a request for an electronic transaction. Some financial institutions may not accept ACH from savings accounts.
Funds typically post to your account 1-2 days after we receive your check or electronic deposit. Once the funds post, you can trade most securities. Electronic deposits can take another 3-4 business days to clear; checks can take 5-6 business days.
Transfers requests between your TD Canada Trust accounts placed before 12:00AM ET (Monday to Friday) (business day) are completed immediately and dated the same day. Transfers placed during the weekend or statutory holidays will be completed immediately but dated as of the next business day.
