How do I assign workers to farm in BDO?
In order to send workers to the garden, you need to click the fence icon on top left of the screen and use the menu to assign workers at the designated garden. Once you are finished assigning workers, they start managing crops by automatically pruning or killing insects, allowing crops to grow at a steady pace.
To assign a worker to gather a resource and bring it back to the regions storage you need to unlock all connecting nodes between the work location and the worker's city of origin by spending contribution points.
To start farming you will need to rent a fence from an NPC using “Contribution points”. Contribution points are earned by completing quests. Contribution points can be seen in the top left along with your Skill points and Energy. You can rent up to 10 farms in TOTAL (eg.

Start hiring workers as soon as you enter Velia. You get 1 free Worker Lodging per city or <Work Supervisor>. Find a <Work Supervisor> by using your Find NPC button on the top right of your screen.
