How does BPI investment funds work?
BPI Investment Funds are collective investment schemes, wherein we pool the money of different investors and invest it in a diversified portfolio of cash, bond or stock managed by a professional fund manager, providing potentially higher returns than a regular savings.
- Go to Investments tab.
- Select Redeem.
- Select Trust Account Number.
- Click Search.
- Check details of UITF placement to be redeemed and then select the circle beside “Subscription Date”
- Click Proceed.
- Expect proceeds of redemption to be credited on settlement date (depends on UITF).
- Go to www.bpi.com.ph and click Login.
- Enter your username and password. ...
- Click My Accounts then Manage My Accounts.
- Key in your One-Time PIN to proceed.
- Select your Investment Account by clicking the box.

UITFs have no maturity date and are open ended. You can redeem units anytime. However, most UITFs in the market have a minimum holding period where redemption within the period will subject your redemption to an early redemption fee.

How do funds work? When you invest in a fund, your and other investors' money is pooled together. A fund manager then buys, holds and sells investments on your behalf. All funds are made up of a mix of investments - this is what diversifies or spreads your risk.
Each fund's redemption settlement date varies, and ranges from the same day (T+0) to 7 days from date of redemption (T+7).
For UITF investments coursed through a BDO branch, fill-out the Notice of Redemption of Participation found at the lower portion of your COP and submit this to the same BDO Branch where you opened your UITF. For UITF investments done online, you need to submit your redemption request via the BDO Invest Online.

Update: As stated previously, all BPI Maxi-Saver Savings Accounts (debit card and passbook) must now have an Average Daily Balance of Php 2,000,000 from the previous Php 50,000 and Php 75,000, respectively. Furthermore, the required balance to earn interest is also raised to Php 2,000,000.

To do so, go to the 'services' option in the banking app and click on 'cardless cash withdrawal' for self. You will then be asked to enter the amount, your 4-digit temporary PIN and select the account number from which the amount is to be debited.
What is the minimum investment required to open an account? There is no minimum investment required to open a BPI Trade account. However, before you can purchase any shares of stock, you must first deposit funds into your BPI Trade Settlement Account (SETA).
This investment fund intends to achieve liquidity and stable income derived from a diversified portfolio of foreign currency-denominated short-term fixed income instruments. The Fund aims to provide absolute returns in excess of the return of the 3-month U.S. Treasury Bill.
