Can you use PayPal with Stash?
Absolutely. While we don't currently support linking your PayPal account by signing in, you can send money directly to your Stash banking account from Paypal. That's it.
- Log into your account on stash.com.
- Select Transfer on the navigation bar.
- Select which external account you'd like to transfer money from, and which Stash account you'd like to deposit the money into.
- Enter the amount of money you want to transfer.
- Click Confirm.
If you have a cash balance on Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal, you can use that money to fund your Stash.
Compatible With PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Checking is not compatible with other mobile payment apps, such as Zelle.
All Stash accounts come with a bank account serviced by Green Dot Bank. The bank account has no minimum balance requirements, no overdraft fees and no monthly services fees. It also includes other features like early direct deposit access (up to two days early) and recurring automatic transfers.
How long does it take for money to reach my bank account after I withdraw it from Stash? Your money is removed immediately from a Stash account when transferred from Stash to an external bank account. However, it may take funds up to 5 business days to appear in that external account.

Can I use Stash without a bank account?
Each plan includes the option to open a brokerage account and a bank account. The subscription fee is due if a client is receiving Financial Counseling Services regardless of whether or not a client chooses to open and/or use a brokerage account.
