During a recent episode of Renovation island, Bryan revealed that he and some of his business associates decided to purchase their first vacation rental home. The light green bungalow with an “old school “The Florida vibe” wouldn’t take too much work to turn into the perfect affordable vacation rental, he said.

“It’s a great little house as it is,” he says. He explained that he hoped to complete the entire renovation in just six weeks.

“Ideally, this is the first of many vacation rental homes here,” Bryan said.

“I think it’s a really interesting project and that’s probably why Bryan was drawn to it,” Sarah said. “Compared to the size and scale of the hotel which was somewhat of a long investment of time and financial resources, it’s something quick and relatively simple.”

The Baeumler’s vacation rental is $350 per night

Bryan and his team completed the renovation of the vacation rental on schedule. Now the West Palm Beach home is now available for rent on Airbnbhe recently shared on Facebook.

The four-bedroom, two-bathroom home — dubbed the “Paradise Palm Bungalow” — sleeps up to eight people. It features a private backyard pool, terrazzo floors, screened porch, outdoor dining area, and updated kitchen and bathrooms. Rental fees start at $350 per night, plus cleaning and service charges. High season stays can cost up to $550 per night.

Some ‘Renovation Island’ Fans Think Airbnb Is Too Expensive

When Bryan posted on the Renovation island Airbnb on Facebook, its fans were quick to share their opinions on the vacation rental. Many people felt the rental cost was too high, especially since Bryan had said he wanted the property to be affordable.

“It’s a shame you think it’s affordable,” one person commented.

“Very nice but I think he thinks affordable in a different way than me,” wrote another.

However, other people stood up for Bryan. They argued that the price per night for the vacation rental home was what you would pay for similar properties in the area.

“You’ve come to the right place with the prices…it’s a bargain,” one wrote. “People just need to get out of their homes more.”

New episodes of Renovation island airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on HGTV. The episodes are also streaming on Discovery+.
