If young people would just take a moment to thank - their parents - instead of complaining about them then they will realize that they are who they are because of their parents who: gave them a room, clothes, food, care, supervision, had them, nourished them, drove them everywhere as needed, stressed for them (avoiding you the children to notice)...then you will end up mre GRATEFUL about your parents.

How can people get up every morning and deal with the same f*cking stress every day it will be fantastic. There to fight for, what is there to live for, life has a tendency to screw us over. Wise words interesting comments. Perhaps Bill Gates was used due to being more easily recognized however posting that Charles Sykes actually wrote it would add even more credibility. Should not dilute the message. I think these are real truths and our young people need to accept this or learn the harder way by experience. I think the world is getting even tougher and more dangerous and political correctness is not preparing our young people for this. I may have read this anyway with the book source but Bill Gates was a good advertisem*nt to get people to read it. started with nothing, and still managed to save a little, taught school for 30 years. I managed to raise the self esteem in children without lying to them. For the most part, I hope I was able to pass on a few other life values like acceptance, trust, love, and hope.

they are guides through life. People will be happier if they adopt them, and hopefully, these attitudes will spread!
