What I like about Ohio is that the pace is a little slower. And what I like about CareSource is that they offer the opportunity if you need to work at home. Our daughter won the 4th grade spelling bee, so I was able to go attend that. I don’t think that I would have been able to do that if I was still in Houston. So it’s the small things that a lot of people take for granted. That you don’t realize are important until you’re in this space that’s conducive to supporting this work/life balance.

For me personally, it’s really easy to go straight from work to the gym to rugby practice or anything else I want to do and then still have more time to spend with you know friends and family things like that. I think one of the greatest things about Columbus is that it doesn’t really matter what the organization is, they want to think about what the future looks like. It’s not all about just capitalizing or maximizing on what is now. It’s about what there is to be in the future. There’s not really any one type of tech start up or technology company that isn’t represented almost in Columbus. Everybody’s thinking about what they can do to change the world. And I think everybody in Columbus has kinda got that bug right now to where it’s almost contagious.

I think that the Ohio central location is awesome. It was a huge inconvenience living in Texas when my families here in Ohio and Georgia. Was not effective for us to visit them. But being in Ohio especially having an international airport here in Dayton, my in-laws can come visit and they can see their grandchild. It has been a blessing to be where we are now.
