I started Confidently Wealthy after two years of being a broke AF creative being tied to a job, working more than a 9-5 and being burnt the F OUT!!
It wasn’t until I had a realization that entrepreneurship is to expand your income not be limited by it.
What does this mean?
Creatives need to understand the concept of financial abundance, financial literacy, creating a business plan, creating a product suite, a content calendar, a sales plan, POS systems and not to mention saving for retirement!
Now you’re like-my God, I just want to create can I just get people to do this for me and the thing is you can but you need money in order to do so.
What does that mean?
That means you need a profitable + sustainable + actionable business where you know CLEARLY what your job is and what you’re doing day in and day out.
Being a creative means thinking more about just getting paid to create a piece of art work or material for someone’s brand but strategically in a way where you can create impact and profit within your business model.
You see I created Confidently Wealthy™️ because I was TIRED of seeing creatives broke and not getting paid for what they deserve and I think it is largely because they think by asking for more money more income they are suddenly the mean person but my friend-the other person on the other side of the table is trying to SAVE MONEY!!
AKA See how much money they can save from not paying you or sometimes they really don’t have the funds to pay you right now.
The thing is if you’re not going to honor your worth-no one else will.
How do you honor your worth? By understanding, you’re A BUSINESS-you’re getting PAID to do what you do-you literally ARE GETTING PAID TO PLAY WITH YOUR FAVORITE PRODUCTS!
Do you not want to capitalize on that opportunity? Or do you want to sit there and complain each day that you have to go to a job that you hate or you can’t travel because you’re connected to a job that you hate.
