What should I do if I do not get IPO Refund? (2024)

Registrar of the IPO is responsible for processing IPO applications. This includes allotment and refund processing. The issuer company, lead manager or broker are not responsible for this and should not be contacted for the same. If someone is not received IPO refund, there are few easy step which one can follow to get IPO refund.

1. Visit Registrar's local office or call your nearest branch to file a written complain. Make sure that you have a written application ready with all the detail before contacting Registrar's office.You can get the registrar's contact information on IPO detail page of our site.

2. You can send the following information to registrar through an email.

Problem statement -
Company Name -
Application Number -
Applicant Name -
Number of Shares Applied -
Applicant Amount -
Cheques Number -
Bank Name -
DP ID -
Depository Client ID -

3. File your complain online with ‘SEBI' using following steps:

A. Click the below link in browser:
http://www.sebi.gov.in/Complaint1.jsp
B. Fill the required info and submit the form.

I have applied for many lots of sme ipo k2 infrazen through aliceses application of trading but at the time of subscription I don’t have money but I don’t know how ipo was applied and 12000 shares allotrd to me and my wallet balnce of more than 5 lakh debited for ipo and asking for pending 9 lakhs for complte subscription but I don’t have money . Now application not showing me credit of shares of 5 lakhs or not cancelled ipo and refund not processed
They asking me to pay 9 lakhs and then share will credit.
Kindly any body can help me to refund my 5 lakhs amount

I do apply lot of mainboard IPO, i am not able to track those amount if i didnt get the IPO, how can i check those details if amount is not sent back.

I applied for muthoot ipo but the application got failed but the money was blocked by bank so I cancelled the application now money have not been refunded by the bank . If anyone could help please help me

Ky ideaforge ka refund hua hai ky kisi ka? Ideaforge ka ipo nahi mila aur fund bhi unblock nahi hua hai.

Hi Everyone,

I was not allotted with Krsnaa Diagnostic IPO and later my funds that were blocked were not unblocked. Just like others, I was also waiting for it to unblock and my Autopay expired. I called the bank, broker but nobody could help me since it has to unblock automatically.

Then I wrote a mail to Registrar( in my case to kfintect - krsnaa.ipo@kfintech.com) regarding this issue on 25th Aug. And later today the blocked amount is unblocked and credited to my account.

For everyone who is facing this issue, I would suggest asking your Registrar so that they can send the mail to the required ASBA or Bank to unblock the amount.

Then I wrote a mail to Registrar( in my case to ipo.tatatech@icici
regarding this issue on 12th dec. And later today the blocked amount is unblocked and credited to my account.
