What does the order rejection “Insufficient funds. Required margin is Rs 925 but available margin is Rs 100” mean?

Insufficient funds. Required margin is Rs XX but available margin is Rs XX

This error occurs when cash margin available is not sufficient to place that order.

Example - Cash margin available is Rs 50,000 but the user is trying to buy stocks [or open a new NFO/MCX/CDS position] for the value of Rs 80,000 - this rejection error shows up as -

Insufficient funds. Required margin is Rs 80000 but available margin is Rs 50000

This error also occurs when a user is trying to place an order when the margin is blocked for an order that is already open and pending execution.
