While all transactions are structured differently, it basically works like this:
- You choose which of our opportunities is most appealing to you.
- You invest alongside us.
- Depending on the investment, we typically send you a small check every quarter and then a large check when we sell the asset.
Typically, we hold an asset for three to five years. The minimum investment is normally $50,000, with some transactions requiring more. We focus on managing and improving the asset to increase its value so there is a substantial profit when the asset is sold.
There is always a risk with investing in real estate, but experience helps mitigate risk and we have multiple team members with decades of experience. Every year, McKinney Capital & Advisory analyzes hundreds of properties and selects the best opportunities for investment. We only pursue transactions we believe in and put our own ‘skin in the game.’ We invest in a variety of asset classes such as hotel, office, retail, multifamily, and industrial. Also, as you may know, the State of California has approved the adult use of cannabis and we have opportunities on the real estate side to invest in this rapidly growing industry.
