Wait time - CorvetteForum - Chevrolet Corvette Forum Discussion (3)Wait time

I’ve been on the new C8 list since September. I’m now # 2 at my local dealership but they haven’t received a C8 in 3 weeks now.
Has anyone else experienced this long of a wait? It was frustrating enough to be pushed into a ‘23 but now to wait this long to order is very frustrating.

Septemebr? Average wait is about 10-12 months. Some have gotten lucky and been faster. I waited 13 months. Factory has been shut down for the last week. The number of Corvettes coming in is relative to their allocations.

I bought from the dealer who gets the most allocations per year (Ciocca) and I waited 8 months. It looks to me like you have a ways to go, depending on how many allocations your dealer gets. I think most people plan on about a year wait.

Just got my car at 10mo from Macmulkin.

Ciocca screwed up their lists and completely bypassed my number or I would have gotten a car from them maybe a month sooner.

Coming up on a year at Holz Motors in WI. Last we talked they thought delivery by Dec. They are a small, local dealer and I’m willing to wait since I’ve bought from them before(plus I’m at msrp). I’m even good with Spring ‘23 since I won’t be driving it in the winter anyway. I’m enjoying the wait as the aftermarket continues to build and now we get better rim choices for 2023.

I’d say figure a year and hope they don’t run out of parts and or cut back stingray production to build the ZO6 or E Ray. It will come.

Deposit to MM on July 1 2021. Build Date was yesterday (10 months 4 days) from deposit to build.

Expecting shipping to Florida in a few weeks.

I had my 2014 Z51 Torch Red 7 Spd Manual Coupe ordered through MM in August 2013. Build to Delivery was 7 weeks at MSRP. I sold the 2014 this past October for $ 56,000 with only 9,000 miles. I was one of the first MM retail customer to purchase the new C7. Tommy at MM was awesome and kept me posted from order to delivery. MM may be the 2nd largest Corvette dealer but the are surely #1 when it comes to customer care and service.
