The red cap on the machine is the oil filler cap.About how to fill the Vacuum Investing Casting Machine with oil:Open the rear cover of the machine, remove the yellow plastic screw and fill the oil slowly to ensure that the oil level reaches the maximum value. The oil level can be checked on the sight glass on the right side of the unit. Fill slowly until the oil level reaches the fill line on the sight glass. Important: do not use any oil other than vacuum pump oil. Do not add oil higher than the maximum line, otherwise the pump will leak oil during operation. Replace the oil filler plug before operating the machine.

I purchased a vacuum caster like this from another dealer. The dome, which was only about 1.5mm thick at the top, blew up on me. Luckily I was not hurt.Your product says it has, "Thick aviation plastic" on the dome. How thick? What specifically is "aviation plastic"? Thanks

The material is PC. The bottom is 15mm and the top thickness is about 2.2mm. Try not to press the top too hard.

Great machine!
This machine is as good as it gets. For the quality I’m surprised at the price. I’ve used this machine for 6 months now with zero issues. The gaskets for the casting chamber could be better, but even after deterioration from the heat, they’re still holding strong. Highly recommend!

Great results, you have to open it up to get to the vacuum oil fill port.
I had a US made brand I used at work, I got this one as an inexpensive alternative for my home and it functionally works just as well.

Works great
I am a beginner at this, but it is so easy to use. And I only had to order 1. Where as I ordered 2 from another company, and they both came broke I had to send them back. I have done three castings and they turn out very good. I will provide a video.

You must fill with hydraulic oil. Vacuum chamber holes in the rubber mat must be plugged.
I use the device for jewelry casting. It has worked well for my needs. The vacuum chamber/casting cylinder control valve is a little off the indicator marks, more like 45° not 90°.

Great machine but they raised price
Very well-made does as it supposed to was very cheap but they raise the price after I bought it The downside is they don’t offer the gaskets for sale And It didn’t come with any vacuum oil the bottle was empty

**IMPORTANT INFO FOR UK BUYERS**
Delivery was quick and came a couple of days before expected. exactly as described. happy with the machine itself. My only issue is a safety issue. **IMPORTANT INFO FOR UK BUYERS **When buying this product it is extremely important you buy a 110v step down transformer and adapter. Without it the machine pulls way too much power and overheats. The power cable to the machine becomes hot to touch and the machine shuts off. This is a safety issue, if it all goes wrong at best you will just destroy your machine and at worst you can burn down your workshop/house or wherever your using this.
