Founders and entrepreneurs often talk about their mental health, but have you ever wondered how their investors are faring? It turns out that multiple venture capitalists across Europe are also tired and burnt out, according to a Sifted investigation. More than a dozen VCs reportedly spoke about seeking professional help, taking months off work and having friends and loved ones cut ties with them due to the stresses of the job. VCs are under pressure to generate returns for the businesses and individuals that invest in their startup funds. This has become harder recently as tech valuations have plummeted. Toxic competition, isolation, and the need to maintain a personal brand are also adding to VC stress levels.
