Disclaimer

The annual Private Banking and Wealth Management Survey provides a qualitative review of the best services in private banking, by region and by areas of service. The survey is completed by private banks and wealth managers to identify the firms that they consider to be their top competitors. Participating private banks and wealth managers are able to access the questionnaire directly from www.euromoney.com.

Euromoney is interested in the views of senior private banking/wealth management staff with a perspective on the relative merits and demerits of their bank and its competitors. Voters identify the country about which they have the most knowledge then nominate their top three peers in that country in each category. Euromoney then awards four, three and two points, respectively to each of those nominations in that category and country. No self-nominations or parent/subsidiary company nominations are allowed.

The Euromoney awards were independently determined and awarded by the Euromoney editorial team. UBS did not pay a fee in exchange for these awards. For more information on a particular award, please visit ubs.com/us/en/designation-disclosures.

In this survey, which is widely regarded for celebrating excellence in private banking across 60 countries, UBS has not only received top rankings but has done so in an impressive 192 global, regional, and country categories.

The Euromoney Private Banking & Wealth Management Survey is a qualitative review that involves private banks and wealth managers providing their insights into the best services in the industry, both regionally and across various areas of service. The strength of this survey lies in its reliance on votes collected from client-facing banking professionals globally, totaling over 2,000 peers in this case. This means that the recognition UBS received is not arbitrary but is backed by the opinions of professionals with a deep understanding of the private banking landscape.

UBS's dominance in the survey is highlighted by its top rankings in critical categories, such as being #1 in ESG/Sustainable Investing and #1 in Philanthropic Advice. These achievements demonstrate UBS's commitment to socially responsible investing and providing valuable philanthropic advice, showcasing a well-rounded approach to private banking beyond just financial performance.

It's worth noting that this isn't UBS's first time in the spotlight. The article mentions that these recent accolades add to UBS's high-profile awards from 2021, including Euromoney's World's Best Wealth Manager win in the Euromoney Awards for Excellence—a prestigious acknowledgment the bank has received for the seventh time in a decade. This consistent recognition over the years further solidifies UBS's reputation and expertise in the wealth management sector.

The survey's methodology, as outlined in the article, adds another layer of credibility to the results. The fact that private banks and wealth managers themselves participate in the survey, providing insights into their top competitors, enhances the reliability and authenticity of the rankings. Moreover, the Euromoney awards are independently determined and awarded by the Euromoney editorial team, emphasizing the objectivity and impartiality of the process.
