Asset Management

The Asset Management division of the UBP London branch comprises investment management capabilities covering:

• Impact equity strategies in developed and emerging markets
• Emerging fixed-income strategies
• Global and absolute return fixed-income strategies
• Private debt strategies

These strategies are provided in the form of UCITS or AIFs via Luxembourg or Irish investment vehicles and are available to both Wealth Management and Asset Management clients.

London is also home to some of UBP’s alternatives expertise and fund-management activities. Since 1972 UBP has been a leading investor in hedge funds through a range of portfolio-management and single-fund solutions. The Alternative Investments team has a robust, conviction-based investment process designed to offset interest rate and market volatility within a diversified portfolio.

Wealth Management

Our Wealth Management services are flexible, personalised, and tailored to the needs and objectives of each client.

What we offer:

A range of investment mandates

• Discretionary mandates – available in a range of currencies – targeting different client risk profiles.
• Advisory services for clients who wish to keep control of their investments, but who would like to benefit from UBP’s financial know-how.
• Execution-only mandates, for those clients who prefer to manage their assets independently.

Strong investment management expertise

• UBP is recognised for its expertise in traditional andalternativeasset management.
• The Bank’s integrated business model gives its high-net-worth clients access to institutional asset management services as well as to its full range of wealth and risk management resources.
• UBP London benefits from the Group’s global expertise and financial know-how across asset classes and markets.

Lombard and leveraged lending for high-net-worth clients only

Regulated and unregulated mortgages

• Unregulated mortgages for clients wishing to buy property for investment purposes.
• Regulated mortgages – which cover owner-occupied properties – are execution-only (non-advised)and are reserved for high-net-worth clients.

Global approach to tax and wealth planning

Our dedicated Wealth Planning team based in Geneva will tailor solutions to build your unique wealth planning strategy.

• We will guide you onwealth and estate planning (on request).
• We also take care of the tax implications relating to portfolio management and a product’s tax treatment (on request).
• UBP has developed complex and efficient account-segregation structures for UK RND.

Private Markets Group (PMG)

You can invest in private debt and/or private equity opportunities sourced and structured by our Private Markets Group.

This service for professional investors and eligible high net worth investors (or equivalent under relevant laws) helps you build a portfolio of private-equity-type investments that are not always available to Wealth Management clients.
