The design firm still makes many of its products completely in the United States, usually in its facilities nestled in the foothills of North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains. The 22-acre campus includes a 350,000 square-foot factory as well as creative studios and corporate offices (and the offices are dog-friendly). The company proudly remains a family-friendly employer: many Robert Abbey staffers are third- and fourth-generation employees of the firm.
