Optimism will suspend ETH withdrawals on February 15
Optimism announced on February 15 that it would suspend ETH withdrawal services for one hour. The project will do this to test the upgraded incident response system. This test will impact ETH withdrawal processes from Layer2 to the Ethereum main-net. However, it will not affect deposits from main-net to Layer2 and normal processes on the network. The goal of this upgrade is to improve the coordinated response capabilities of different blockchains in the Optimism ecosystem in the event of a security incident.
The new incident response system will support on-chain suspension of Ethereum withdrawals. It will also add a new feature that allows for the suspension of token and NFT withdrawals within Harika Chain for Optimism and Optimism-based Blockchains that choose to participate.

1. Type: 2021/7-2022/4, 2.71 million PENDLE allocated by investing in unlocking. They were then all transferred to MEXC in 2022/6 when the PENDLE price was $0.05;
