Accounting, finance and economics – choose to study any of these subjects anywhere and you'll be likely to land a pretty good job, but get onto a course at one of world's top 10 and you can probably go ahead start browsing the property section of Fortune magazine straight away.

The QS world universities rankings for 2015 has named the world's best universities for both accounting and finance as well as economics and econometrics.
Unsurprisingly, both Oxford and Cambridge fly the academic flag for the UK, while the London School of Economics more than lives up to its authoritative name.
In fact, LSE is ranked as the best university in the UK for economics and econometrics and the fourth best in the world behind Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Harvard and Stanford.

QS bases its rankings using major global surveys of academics and employers and the number of research citations given to an average research paper.
Using such a calculation, QS determined Oxford to be the best place to study accounting and finance in the UK with LSE and Cambridge once again making the world's top 10.
In fact, only universities from the USA or the UK make it into the world's 10 best for economics or accounting and finance.
